Sunsets can be spectacular in Imperial Beach, California, the southwestern-most city in the continental U.S., immediately across the border from Tijuana, Mexico. Here, the brilliant golds, oranges and reds of the waning sunlight are beautifully reflected by the mirror-like quality of the water on the sand.
