With moonlight softly painting the landscape at Joshua Tree National Park near Twenty-Nine Palms, California, the stars and wispy clouds capture the feeling of absolute serenity on this pleasant moonlit summer evening.  The three brightest stars in this photo―Vega (near the top), Deneb (on the left) and Altair (on the right)―trace the famous asterism known as the Summer Triangle.
