NIGHT LIGHTS
AUR-02-053

In addition to a faint magenta aurora, the moon, cirrus clouds, vapor trails from high-flying jets, a lunar halo, and an Iridium satellite flare light up the night sky south of Fairbanks, Alaska on the morning of March 24, 2002. Lights from a passing bus add to the scene.
